TOKYO – May 6, 2021 – Preferred Networks, Inc. (PFN) and Nissin Food Products Co., Ltd. (Nissin Food Products) have agreed to conduct joint research to analyze the relationship between nutrition intake and physical condition. The two companies will use the research results to further evolve Nissin Food Products’ complete nutrition meals, currently under development based on latest molecular nutrition studies.

Nissin Food Products has been conducting research on complete nutrition meals that look and taste as good as regular meals and fulfill all daily nutritional requirements with controlled amounts of calories, sodium, carbohydrates and fats”.  Leveraging its expertise in instant noodles and other food products, Nissin Food Products has been applying its molecular nutrition and food processing technologies to develop the future of complete nutrition meals.

Since PFN joined Nissin Food Products’ research, the companies have used PFN’s data analysis and optimization technologies to scientifically and precisely quantify nutrition intake and its effect on physical condition. PFN and Nissin Food Products will continue their joint research to further develop and improve the accuracy of the analysis model and apply the technology to the recipes for complete nutrition meals that are personalized based on each individual’s physical condition.
