Preferred Networks, Inc. (PFN) will showcase its automation-focused open world survival craft game Omega Crafter at Tokyo Game Show 2024, which is to be held between Thursday, September 26 and Sunday, September 29 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

In the Omega Crafter booth, visitors can experience the title’s block-based visual programming in real life with a special exhibit. They can place physical blocks with commands printed on them on the board and hit enter to see Omega Crafter’s programmable sidekick Grammi perform the program on the screen. The booth will also have PCs on which visitors can explore user-generated cities in the Omega Crafter universe and try the early access edition of Omega Crafter.

About Omega Crafter

Omega Crafter is an indie open world survival craft game developed by a small team at PFN with a focus on automation, which the team believes is the best part of the genre. Players can combine blocks with everyday phrases such as “pick up,” “attack __” and “loop” to make Grammi, the protagonist’s programmable sidekicks, to automatically perform in-game tasks such as material collection, city building and farming. 

No coding knowledge is required as Omega Crafter has adopted the user-friendly interface from Playgram™, PFN’s programming education app currently used in over 700 locations in Japan. The title is designed in a way that anyone can enjoy the benefits and fun of in-game automation regardless of coding experience. PFN plans to add a new biome Fallen Samurai Isle in early October.
